Terms of Use

ClinicsCheck (clinicscheck.com) is operated by Opaline Clinique Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom. These terms apply when you use the site as a patient or visitor. Clinics that publish offers use a separate Clinic Terms of Service.

ClinicsCheck is a directory and comparison platform. You can search licensed clinics, compare publicly shown or clinic-published information, and message a clinic through the site.

ClinicsCheck is not a medical provider. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or give medical advice. We are not a travel agency or a medical tourism agency. We do not book flights or hotels, and we do not perform, arrange, supervise or aftercare any treatment.

Patients never pay ClinicsCheck. If you pay anyone for treatment, travel or aftercare, that payment is to the clinic or another third party — not to us.

Nothing on the site — including listings, scores, badges, prices, reviews or messages from our assistant — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to have a procedure. Speak to a qualified clinician about your own case before you decide.

We display information that a clinic publishes, or that comes from a public health-authority register or another labelled source. Offers, packages and prices are provided by the clinic. We do not set them, verify every figure, or guarantee that a price, date or package is still available.

Register membership and any quality or comparison score on ClinicsCheck is not a medical ranking, a league table, or an endorsement of a clinic, surgeon or outcome.

If you enquire, book or have treatment, your contract is with that clinic. Consent, clinical care, insurance, licensing, advertising, refunds, cancellations and aftercare are the clinic’s responsibility. Disputes about treatment or price are between you and the clinic.

We do not share your patient account data with clinics. Messages you send through ClinicsCheck are delivered as an enquiry; the clinic does not receive a dump of your profile, shortlist or intake answers.

You must give accurate details when you create an account. Do not misuse the site, scrape it in a way that harms the service, or post content you do not have the right to share. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being abused.

ClinicsCheck is a directory and comparison site. We are not a medical provider, travel agency or medical agency, and we do not perform or supervise treatments. Offers and clinic information are published by the clinic. Any contract, treatment and aftercare sit between you and the clinic — not with ClinicsCheck or Opaline Clinique Limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opaline Clinique Limited and ClinicsCheck are not liable for clinic services, clinical outcomes, complications, prices, availability, advertising claims, travel arrangements, or any contract between you and a clinic. We are not liable for information a clinic publishes that later proves incomplete or wrong, except where we cannot exclude liability (for example death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

Where we are liable and the law allows a cap, our total liability to you for using the site is limited to £100, or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months — which for patients is normally nothing.

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The parties intend that the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This is a template pending lawyer review and may need to change for consumers in other countries.

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change is material we will ask you to accept again when you next sign in or view offers.
